Salernitana are reportedly keen on signing Juventus defender Daniele Rugani who is struggling to get regular playing time at the club.
Rugani is under contract with the Bianconeri until 2024 but he might be leaving the club already in January. The defender is struggling to get regular playing time, collecting just three appearances across all competitions.
His struggle to get game time could eventually force him to make a decision regarding his future. Despite his lack of playing time in the past two seasons, Rugani is still attracting interest from several teams in Serie A.
As reported by Il Matino (via Juventusnews24), the latest team that are showing interest in the ex-Empoli man is Salernitana.
The Granata are eyeing to bolster their squad in the second half of the season and believe Rugani could be a great addition to the team.
Juventus are open to letting him leave, but it is unlikely that the Granata will afford his salary given that Rugani gets €3.5m per season so the Bianconeri would need to pay part of his salary if the Italian defender leaves on loan.
