Three reasons why Dybala will start on the bench against Inter

Reports in Italy suggest that Massimiliano Allegri will not play Paulo Dybala from the start against Inter tonight and we look at the three reasons why the Argentinean won’t feature in Juventus XI against Inter.

The Bianconeri will be facing Simone Inzaghi’s men in the Italian Super Cup clash at San Siro tonight.

Juventus won’t be able to field their next XI for that game as several players are out. The Bianconeri are missing Chiesa due to injury, Ramsey (Covid) while De Ligt and Cuadrado are both suspended.

Some other big names will also start from the bench including their talisman, Paulo Dybala.

Although it may sound controversial, JFCNews understand that there are three reasons for benching Dybala.

The first reason has to do with Allegri’s tactician decision as he wants a player to man-mark Marcelo Brozovic. Dybala won’t be able to do that work so, the coach will start Dejan Kulusevski as he is capable of it.

That approach was similar to what Allegri did during both teams’ previous Serie A meeting back on October 25, 2021.

Allegri’s second reason to start Dybala from the bench is related to his current physical condition. The Argentinian superstar hasn’t played a full 90 minutes of football for a while now, so he needs a bit more rest.

The third reason for the decision is that the coach wants to have a fresh and quality player coming off the bench. Allegri believes Dybala would be a better option to have in the second half instead of Moise Kean.

The former Everton striker’s performance so far is still not convincing enough for the coach.
