Tottenham Hotspur to beat Juventus to Udinese starlet Udogie

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly leading the race to sign Udinese starlet Destiny Udogie, who has also been a target for Juventus.

The 19-year-old established himself as a key player for Udinese last season, making 37 appearances and contributing five goals and three assists. Udogie’s impressive performances have attracted interest from several top European clubs.

Juventus have shown strong interest in securing Udogie during this summer transfer window. However, Udinese were initially firm on keeping their young talent and unwilling to negotiate his departure.

According to Sky Sport Italia (via Football Italia), the situation has shifted with the arrival of interest from Tottenham Hotspur. The Premier League club is reportedly close to finalizing a deal for the promising defender.

Udinese have set a €25 million valuation for Udogie, a fee that Tottenham are prepared to meet. What gives Antonio Conte’s side an advantage is their willingness to let Udogie remain at Udinese on loan for the upcoming season, ensuring continuity for both the player and the club.
