Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly leading the race to sign Udinese’s starlet Destiny Udogine, who is also a Juventus target.
The 19-year-old grabbed a starting role for Udinese last season, making 37 appearances while grabbing five goals and three assists. Udogie’s excellent performance for his club has triggered the interest of many European clubs.
Juventus are one of the teams that are really keen on signing Udogie in this summer transfer window. Udinese had other ideas though as they insist on keeping him and were not willing to negotiate his exit.
However, according to Sky Sport Italia(via Football Italia), the situation could change now following the interest from Tottenham Hotspur. The Premier League side are reportedly close to signing the 19-year-old.
Udinese reportedly valued Udogie at 25m, an amount that Tottenham won’t have a problem paying. However, the key that gives Antonio Conte’s side an edge is their willingness to let the starlet remain at his current club for next season.
