Juventus will reportedly hand Paul Pogba the number 10 jersey in 2022-23.
The Frenchman will complete a free transfer to the Allianz Stadium and is expected to undergo his medical next week.
Despite facing competition from PSG, the Bianconeri managed to win the race as the player strongly wanted a return to Turin. Pogba wore the No.10 shirt in his final year at Juventus and will likely get the same next season.
According to Tuttosport, the Bianconeri have some good reasons to give Pogba the iconic jersey once again. First of all, it is vacant following Paulo Dybala’s departure. Moreover, Pogba’s other number, 6 has been taken by Danilo.
However, the former Manchester United star is not identified with a number such as Cristiano Ronaldo, so giving him the No.10 will make him even more recognisable and important, on and off the pitch.
Juventus want to develop their brand around the 2018 France World Cup winner and giving him the No.10 will help the club achieve their goal.
