Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero has reminisced about his final game with the club which was 10 years ago today.
Del Piero spent 19-years with the Bianconeri before ending his journey with the club in 2012. 10 years ago on this date, the Pinturicchio played his final match for Juve in a 3-1 win against Atalanta.
The former striker remembered and celebrated that moment by posting a video of his final moment on Instagram. Del Piero also sent a touching message for the Juventus fans, thanking them for all of their support.
“Your chants, the looks, our tears during that final lap on the pitch that I never wanted to end.
“Moments that encompass my 19 years with Juventus lived within you, “forever by my side”.
“It’s an emotion that can’t be erased, just as if I still hear those words right now and still had those gazes on me. I still have a hard time describing what I’ve been carrying every day for the last 10 years,” Del Piero wrote on Instagram.
